This project is a reflection of self and is all about embracing your darkness and your light. Smokey shares a newfound transparency on this EP with songs like 'Find Out' that she as an artist has been known to shy away from in previous years. Other tracks, like 'Go Nutz' and 'Finest Hour', share moments of self love and confidence. 'Shadow Work' can be described best as a short novel with 5 powerful and captivating chapters that will leave you ready for the next book.
